So I was interested in getting a industrial case model M but I don't want to take out a 3 billion dollar loan. I have one of those smaller 104 key model M's from Unicomp, and they sell new-old stock industrial cases on their website.
Would the case fit my keyboard if I clipped off the two little covers that are supposed to be over the Windows key? I did message Unicomp but all they told me was that it wouldn't fit, I don't think there are any other issues with fitting my keyboard apart from the Windows key covers.

For all of those curious about my other thread, I did return the Topre keyboard after about a week, not my thing, I guess buckling springs are my end-game.

As Unicomp sells classic cases with the same internals, I'm going to say yes with the note that the newer keyboards have the mini controller over the numpad, not the large one in the middle which the industrial case expect, so it might not have the mount for the small controller.
Best bet is to ask unicomp.

I asked them but I don't think they're going to like the idea of me modifying their product lol. I compared the footprint of the keys and they honestly look identical other than that little plastic indent for the win key

I believe that industrial case was used with an older style of board which had the cable opening on the left. The newer versions switched the cable to be on the right (I assume your model has it coming out on the right?).
I would guess that that's really the only issue, though there could be some other incompatibility. It shouldn't be too much of a hassle, depending on how the internals look, to extend the cable internally or reroute it a bit inside the case. There should be plenty of room to do so.
I've never seen the insides of your particular model, so I am just guessing.

Ah well, guess it'd be more of a hassle than, we'll see what unicomp says. Thank you for the info
