Title: Ducky Pocket - Lights stay on when I shutdown the PC?!
Post by: Urbi on Fri, 10 August 2018, 15:00:35
Hi,

I recently needed a table calculator and chose the Ducky Pocket. ;) However, I have a tiny problem with it: It doesn't power off when I turn off my PC. The LEDs and the display backlight stay on. It stays that way regardless how I connect the Ducky Pocket or which setting I chose (I can somehow understand if it stayed on in Calculator mode but it stays on in all three modes). Is there a way to work like a regular keyboard in this regard?

Thank you. But I don't that is the issue. My keyboard's lights and my mouse's lights turn off and even when I put the Pocket to the USB port I usually use for my keyboard it doesn't turn off.

Hmm. There should be an option in the BIOS for turning it off ... buy maybe there isn't.

I have a Gigabyte motherboard that does not have an option to shut off power to USB devices when it is "off".
I can turn off startup on a key press on USB devices but it starts up if I press a key by mistake on a keyboard in the PS/2 port ... *sigh*. Total bollocks.

Anyway, I also my PC and peripherals on a power strip with a master switch, which I use. (Of course only after a proper manual shutdown)
