Although it started off as banter in Top Clack’s Discord server, Mr. Sleeves is very much a real character in TC’s Omniverse. Little is known of him other than that he is part of a mob comprised of other formidable personas and that he is known to exact justice on villains through his vivid and deadly sleeves…
100% meme but also 100% truth, the sleeves and rings I wear in my typing videos might have become more a topic of interest than my videos. Most notable of my sleeves is this particularly vivid one:

Many have asked that this sleeve color scheme be turned into a GMK set and now I am trying to make it a reality.

The above kit is currently using the C variants of the proposed Pantone colors, but I am going to attempt to color match for the U variants of the colors which in my opinion look nicer. GMK offers the coated C variants as defaults so it is easiest for them to achieve color matching for that and this render will represent how the set will look like at its worst colors.

For those who haven't been catching my streams, we have received the first round of samples:

While I had originally wanted to go for the U variant of these colors, I actually really like the more muted way these C colors came out. As you can see from the picture, the color matching isn't 100% but it is very darn close. I think moving forward, I will decide to stick to the C colors. I will take some time to decide on what I want changed with these current samples and am open to suggestion as well. I just received these Pantone chips today at work, so will be providing more/better pictures later tonight!

We are getting close. Mostly updated numbers have us around 120. With the extras that the proxies will be purchasing, we are close to 175. So we need just a final push on this to get it going!

First look with GMK 9009!
Not going to lie and say my color balance is accurate but it is not too far off in my opinion! I will be bringing these to the Norcal meetup this Saturday and let you guys see it for yourself/have a live poll to see if you guys are satisfied with the colors. This will delay moving forward obviously but I thought given how big the Norcal meetup will be, itd be a great opportunity for people to see it in person early.

Nature Apricot: 040 80 30
Velvet Blue: 250 80 20

Let's get the pictures out of the way first. For reference, I included in the pictures the following keys:
F7 - GMK Muted Cyan Accent Kit
F8 - GMK Muted 9009 Accent Kit
Windows & Pipe key - GMK Muted Base Kit
The blue blank is the new sample that I have received, which I am very pleased with and think can lock in. Shown in the pictures are 2 pink blanks, the lighter and more muted pink being from the first round of samples and the more saturated pink blank being the newly received 2nd sample of the pink.

I am quite pleased with the new round of samples and think that moving to RAL as suggested by Oblotzky and Zambumon was a great choice. I now however face a dilemma as I think that both the new "punchier" pink as well as the original muted pink both work well not only with the new sample of the blue but also with GMK Muted as well. I would like to hear everyone's thoughts on which one they think works better (or if you guys think a 3rd round of color matching is necessary)!

After much deliberation and gathering feedback from all you guys, I have decided to move forward with the original, more muted pink (the one immediately next to the blue)! In person, I believe that it fits better with the blue and the overall theme of GMK Muted as the newer pink is too vibrant. We have let GMK know and are waiting to hear back on the new estimates for dates, as they took quite a while to get these second round of samples out to us so the original dates may no longer be accurate. We will keep you posted once we hear back from GMK!
