Here's a video made by IBM in the early 80s experimenting with fully automating Model F production in Greenock, Scotland, UK.
A production IBM PC was used to program the production robots! How cool was that? You used a Model F and a COTS IBM PC XT to program and make more Model F keyboards.
I have also included a link to a video of what the plant now abandoned from 2017 looked like before its demolition later in 2017.
