Title: Reddit Lurker Leveling Up
Post by: gwyn on Sat, 25 August 2018, 18:29:31
I constantly lurk reddit, and I thought it's about time to level up and dip my feet into some groupbuys.

Welcome :)

There's a ton of groupbuys going on right now.

Welcome!  I also came from reddit.  Great community, but I think the information here is much closer to the source.  There seems to be a lot less regurgitation of opinions and anecdotal “facts”

I haven't been to r/mk more than a handful of times in the last 2-3 years. I find Reddit really annoying now.

I’m starting to agree with you about reddit.

Question about your proxy service: have you seen any Yarbo USB-C cables?  I tried using a translator to use Taobao, but I couldn’t figure it out.

I don't know much about them but Yarbo is actually a German company, so it might be easier to source from there. The only listing for Yarbo USB cables on TaoBao is this one: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=532972063123

The description states that they have USB-C available so I'm assuming this is what you were looking for.

They are German, but they make audio cables.  That guy on Taobao converts them to fancy USB cables.  For some reason I can’t find a good way to translate those pages well so that be never seen a USB-C availability.  I’ll try it again.
