Title: Starting a set of CNC milled keycaps
Post by: metalkeys on Thu, 30 August 2018, 20:14:05
I've been working on this project off and on for a while, but I finally have a method that I am happy with for milling the keys and getting a decent finish on them. Now I am starting to come up with design ideas for the tops of the keys, right now just doing some engravings but hoping to get into some 3d surfacing / models built into them.   I am pretty new to custom keyboards in general so I was wondering if there are any guidelines as to what is too heavy for a key?  These keys seem to work on all of the switches on this key tester, but I haven't put them to everyday use yet.
