Title: ADB keyboard socket?
Post by: supermario802.1 on Mon, 10 September 2018, 09:51:03
I have an old Apple keyboard with the ADB connector that I'd like to make an ADB to USB Converter for it. Anyone's got a link where to buy the ADB socket for it?

According to this page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Desktop_Bus) the connector is the same as S-Video (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S-Video). Knowing that might make it easier to find.

I tried it with an s-video socket but the rectangle hole at the bottom is a bit tight for the ADB connector.

Looks like the socket i bought is to blame. it's got a non-standard size hole.
