Switches are linear modded Black Alps, and the board is converted to USB via a Pro Micro inside the case.

This board sold for nearly $100 plus shipping on Ebay shortly after.

Wait, I'm not completely clear on this. Was this your board and you converted and sold it?

Yeah, that would seem like a labor of love and very little profit.

I bought the chassis from Snacks on Deskthority.

Yeah, as long as I get my money back so I can restore another is good enough for me.

Did you do anything with the plate as well? If memory serves, AT101 plates are usually painted matte, not glossy Oo .

Yes, I painted the plate.

Noice! Quite a nice restoration job, definitely :) . $100 is not a lot for all of that :) .

Thanks! Definitely going to do this again. Actually I did this with two other AT101Ws but didn't document it. Two more are already ordered from Cindy.

Arent the Tai Hao caps cherry stabilizers? What did you use for the wires... costar pieces?

I used a Matias stabilizer kit. The spacebar has a bit of sideways wobble but as for stabilization it works great. But use some PTFE grease on the hooks or it will rattle a bit.

Wait, come to think about it, as I recall the spacebar and caps lock don't fit this model's layout, how did you make them fit? XD

The spacebar works fine with the Matias stabiliser kit, it has Cherry inserts with the appropriate wire.

As for the Caps Lock key, I had to modify it.
