Titanium isnt softer than aluminum. It def has a much higher young's/flexural modulus and tensile strength than aluminum. Not sure how it would compare to brass for sound since it is lighter than brass.
make it jane mount and i'll consider it
We make any custom keyboard layout , not just 60% keyboard layout.make it jane mount and i'll consider it
+1 on TKL plate that mounts on Jane/Orion/Mech27/MIRA/Moon etc.
I would like to have one for Lumina :)sure.

When the thickness is > 1.5mm, will you use notches to fit the 1.5mm switch gap ?

Definitely in.You can do it yourself or tell us to do this for you.
For heat anodizing, will that be for the recipient to do themselves or can the factory do it?

Of course they can, but you'll have to make the drawings. In fact, I'll do it, but for Realforce R2.The thickness of our plates is from 1.5mm to 5mm.

Can you make a 1.1mm thick plate? 1.1mm is ideal plate thickness for ALPS switches. I'd be interested.

I have much need.

This is also what the Moon TKL uses, right? Anyone have these plate files for when we can order these titanium plates? I have much need.
The plate file for the Mech27v1 ( with compatibility described by Puddsy earlier ) is linked in the original v1 GB thread. Hopefully the link still works, I can't try it from work...

I'd personally prefer a fixed plate rather than one that supports ISO as well as ANSI though
Are dark colors like black possible?Sorry, black color isn't possible but grey is!
Well this is surely interesting... Definitely will be keeping an eye out. Thanks a lot :D
Guys, would it not be possible to update the IC with better photos with some closeup etc? :thumb:Don't worry, we will update soon.
Very interested in an Alps64 plate. We need Alps64 plate file. Do you have it?
What do you need to make this happen? There is an open source design available already.
Neat! Any picture to showcase how this looks in effect? Maybe showing some different grey samples? Are dark colors like black possible?Sorry, black color isn't possible but grey is!

is this one like closer to the STS plate or the aluminum plate?I don't know how to describe but i think titanium will be diffenrent.
Sorry for providing wrong information. This is a raw titanium plate, not grey-anodized color plate. This is grey sample. It is darkest color we can make.Neat! Can you anodize an entire plate with the rainbow effect, similar to the logo that you posted? If so, would it be possible to request several adjacent colors form the anodized titanium (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anodizing#Anodized_titanium) spectrum? (e.g. purple, blue, and turquoise)Now we don't have any rainbow plates, but i will post some photo of rainbow plate when i have one.
I will post photos of dark color plate later.Alright.
I have tried to highlight the lightest of the colors available in the spectrum. Can you anodize an entire plate with the rainbow effect, similar to the logo that you posted? And yes, you can request any colors from titanium anodized spectrum.
Yes, heat anodizing will affect the color of the raw titanium. I will upload a before and after photo when i have one.I will post photos of dark color plate later.Alright.
Does heat anodizing affect the color of the raw titanium? If so can you provide a before and after photo?
Really digging the raw titanium for a build or two.
Can you do any kind of finishes or do you plan on offering such?
Hairline finish, sandblasting or just a polish would do.
In the picture below, other than the logo were the plate treated or has it just been polished?Show Image(https://i.imgur.com/sEVBSS9.jpg)

Is this suitable for mimicking a white precious metal or would the polished raw titanium be more suitable?
I have uploaded more plate photos. You can see it from album in the first post.
Thank you very much. :D
