Hey,
I got pissed while using my IBM Model F keyboard which obviously doesn't have Caps, Scroll or Num Lock leds so I made a little tiny program to display these crucial informations.
Packed with features:
- Fires up in bottom right corner.
- Floppy disk friendly size!
- Has colours!
- Can be moved around just by dragging it.
Feel free to use it if you want. Tested with Windows 10, not sure about the other OS'. Just thought about the struggle of weird keyboards or laptop users. Hit me up if you got any suggestions. Thanks!

Zero post member posts a link to an exe which sounds useful... Do I dare click it? Yeah why not. Can't say it's definitely clean of shiny new viruses or malware but it is tiny and does what it says on the tin, and I can confirm that it works in Win7.
A couple of improvements - hide it in the taskbar and add some way to click on the indicators to close? Could be a right click menu or a middle click...
If you want to double the size you could add OS detection and move it left a bit if not Win10 (or maybe 8?) as as you can see below it touches the scrollbar which doesn't look great.

Sorry! That needs a little explanation from my side :) I have been more active on here under martinikei nick. I am Tatsurou also on deskthority because I tend to be there more often.
Reason I didn't put it in the taskbar it's that I wanted it to be active even while gaming (yes I game using F XT). :p
There is no viruses. What kind of sick fuk would do such a thing on a keyboard nerd forum? :-[

Hey, it was mainly for my own use, but thought about other strugglers.
I don't share any code of what I do. Even though I made it free, I value solutions I put into the program. All the functions can be found on Stack Overflow easily, like button scan codes etc.
Feel free to pm me, I will gladly show you how to make one :)

I meant the program has an item on the taskbar, like most programs. You can't click it to minimise or right click and do anything but close but it's there using space. I guess most people now use the tiny items with grouping (read: inefficient mode where you have to click twice to find the window you want) but I'm old school.

Indeed you can, but as it's not installed and has no preferences you have to do it every time you run the program. Again maybe most people use sleep or suspend rather than a real shutdown and I'm just being old fashioned...
Yup, clearly I'm old fashioned :-[ That said this is aimed at users of a classic board so I don't think you're targeting the teenage gamer audience, though you do game on such a board so who knows :))
