GB is expected to run next week, 1st week of december, most probably mid week - end week.

As for the colour poll, Pink and Grey will be included in the final 6 colours. Poll will close by Monday 3rd December.
Im having colour chips made, which will be ready next week, I'll have them posted on here as well as on the singakbd site.

I'm in the same boat there, I can see it having an acoustic effect perhaps but given there doesn't appear to bee any pressure on the gasket I'm not understanding how it could possibly effect the feel, would love clarification!

The traditional tray has the plate/pcb assembly screwed directly to the case. The pcb is in contact with the housing unlike the top or sandwich mounted boards.
In the Unikorn, the pcb is not longer rests on or comes in contact with the case. The plate/pcb assembly is being supported by the rubber gasket similar to how a sandwich board structure works.

Thanks for the clarification, waiting for the video eagerly :) - I'm still unsure how the plate mount screws don't create a point of contact between the pcb and the base. Sounds more interesting the more you respond though!

Alright, that makes sense, but then why is this case called a tray mount case? What are those mounting holes used for? Are they just used to basically tighten the gasket but the PCB will still float above the highest point of the mounting points?
This is a really interesting design, as most gasket mounts I've seen utilizes top mount, which is why I have a load of questions that I wanna ask :D

FYI that's not how The Web works. You could create a Geekhack poll and I think it would force people to register new accounts on GH rather than opening incognito tabs or clearing cookies. Might be a slightly better approach.

Instead of a bootmapper client pcb (atmega32a), would it be possible to get a atmega32u4 pcb for native QMK?Singa's PCB has been ported to QMK. It should work the same with Unikorn's since they both use the same pins.
I haven't seen it attempted with 32a chips yet, but this way we could easily get Rama's new VIA Configurator to work with it too. In my opinion VIA works just like Bootmapper client but has QMK on the back end.

the plate doesn't get screwed in at all on a tray mount, the switches click into it and it just kinda sits there
universal is a layout thing, meaning that you can use ANSI/ISO among other things
it seems that it does use a typical 60% plate
but maybe catweewee/yuktsi will correct me

Just wanted to say thank you for the detailed picture! :D Really really appreciate you taking the time to do that :) I understand that most people prefer case mount to tray mount due to sound and size, do you think the stand-offs will inherit any particular traits from tray mount? For instance, this versus the keycult/otd 356mini or volcano660?

Aramex forwards on to a carrier within the destination country. In the case of the USA, it forwards on to UPS and from there it's very very fast. I can't really answer the quantity questions.

Ah didn't see the extra column, you're right.The PCB is not in contact with any of the standoffs. There's enough room for flex.
Would love to hear reasoning why a center standoff would feel any better than a standard tray mount. Seems very limiting to flex.

I tried pre-ordering, but it says it cannot ship to my address and will not let me proceed with checkout. Is there any way around this? Especially considering shipping is invoiced later on anyway.
