Post by: tp4tissue on Sun, 02 December 2018, 19:26:25
3 out of 6 of my Firefox extensions have become retired and unsigned..

Running Unsigned code.. eeepp..

I refuse to update..

What are Your thoughts on running Unsafe browsers on "unpopular.. relatively" safe/known sites..

Get off Windows
Switch to Waterfox (an up to date Firefox that allows older extensions, also available for Windows)
Use adblockers (ublock Origin, not ublock!)
Use a malware blocking DNS service, I use OpenDNS

Switch computer off. No power, no risk, no problem.

Switch computer off. No power, no risk, no problem.
Need to unplug it completely and drain residual power.

Better yet, just smash it to pieces.

Is there an option to adopt unmaintained firefox extensions?  ...Asking for a friend... A very generous and extremely helpful friend...
