Some day I'll experience a good CRT with high Hz. Right now though I'll just live through tp's excited display postings :-*
Depends how susceptible you are to it. Lower hz always gave me headaches when I had a CRT (which I only later found was the cause).

It's so black it honestly looks photoshopped, like the title card has just been superimposed onto the image :p
Looking gud.
Glad to see someone else here realizes the unquestionable superiority of CRT displays.
I have 4 CRT monitors sitting on my desk that I use daily. I have a Silicon Graphics / Sony GDM-5411 and an Iiyama Vision Master 17 as my main PC displays, and a Sony PVM-20M2E and Ikegami VCM-141H for DVD/VHS/PS2/Sega Genesis. All of them need calibrated, and the SGI could use a recap and convergence strip adjustment.
I thought of putting a big desk together for multi CRT..
But then I recall, this stuff puts out lotza radiation..
Wasn't too sure about potentially baking myself..
You never have to go out in the sun if your monitors are already giving you a tan :p
what year is it

Some times I have a pang of remorse for giving away my Metz 80cm 16:9 (Phillips tube).
Unfortunately it had fallen behind the times for out of the box features and was just too big to be able to ‘tuck away in the corner’ until another time.
