Title: can you identify this keyoard?

Rebranded Olivetti keyboard manufactured in april 1987 according to the pcb!

i can find nothing on hermes as a company and nothing by olivetti that resembles this on google.

any advice on where to start?

Does it feel good to type on? There are those that think that Olivetti rubber-domes are some of the better rubber-domes.

It is old and has just come out of storage, so the keys feel a bit "sticky" when pressed, like they need a bit of lube or something.
But it is surprisingly tactile to type on, I actually thought they were switches till I took it apart.

Right now I'm just trying to figure out how to make it communicate with the pc. So trying to work out what protocol it uses etc.

The domes I can live with for now!

The system it came from is a hermes rebranding of an olivetti m28 machine in an olivetti xp1076 case.

It uses an olivetti connector on the cable to the machine and the pcb is stamped kb008.

Anyone know anything about old olivetti machines/keyboards?
