Title: A Friendly Canadian, "hello!"
Post by: unfiltered on Wed, 02 January 2019, 00:51:10
Hi everyone!

Been a lurker without an account for a couple years since I bought my first mech, the Ducky Primere Green/ White variant. Still love it but looking to get more into the hobby! I'll attach a photo so you can appreciate the awesome Durotan Orc in full war paint fitting my colour scheme (made by Clack Keys, who delivered it in that awesome pyramid I attached below).

Just bought some parts for my next board, getting quite excited since I'll have a new office to put it in. :)

I'm pretty all over the place when it comes to DIY and art projects so I'm looking into doing some sculpting at some point for some keycaps. It's smaller than what I've tried before but the community seems really supportive so I might as well have fun and give it a try.

Wishing you all a Clacky New Year!!

Hey that's where I am too! I wasn't sure if anyone else around here was into the same hobby :)
Do you know of any chat or forum for people in our area or even more general? One person said I should join the Canadian Mech Discord but I haven't found a invite link to the discord yet.

There are several Ottawa (and surrounding area) members around  , even the odd meetup. Don't know about the Discord but I've been pretty out of the loop these days.

Any keyboard plans for the new year?
