Because it's fun...?
I guess I can put them back. I was just going the original Nintendo route and making A/B/rest different colors.

Me thinks the light blue set would look pretty neat on that white controller tho :thumb:

The set on the white one is from Katz's sale years ago. It's hard to get in the pictures, but it's a blue-purple set. Here's a pic of the buttons from the side:

I didn't know these existed but I have a lot of Gamecube controllers and now here's another thing I want.
