I have some PCBs and case layers left (clear plate, frosted bottom) out of the hardware and pro micros.

Timeline

GB closes 1/28/19

Invoices will go out upon end of GB period, payment due by Feb 2nd

kits would ship approximately 3 weeks after GB ends (we hit Chinese new year, PCB factory is closed till Feb 11th) I'll post updates here as it progresses

The Alpha 28 is QMK compatible! (And for those ordering a kit, the Pro Micro will be pre-flashed with this layout: https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/tree/master/keyboards/alpha/keymaps/vderm

PCB and case are MX(plate or PCB mount) and alps compatible.

Buy is for: PCB, case, or kit for Alpha 28 keyboard with LED underglow (kit does not include switches or keycaps)

Kit ($30) includes:
PCB
pro micro (ready to use, no programming necessary)
2 piece case (plate and bottom)
screws and standoffs
diodes
1x 2u stabilizer
RGB LED strip for underglow

Other options:

Just a Case ($10): 2 pieces of acrylic (plate and case bottom)

Just a PCB ($10): single bare board, black soldermask with white silk screen and gold plated pads

shipping for up to 3 kits or 8 PCBs (if you're getting more than that, I will provide a separate estimate)

Priority within the US $8

First class to Canada $10, rest of the world $15

Priority to Canada $25, rest of the world $35

Post by: worldspawn on Tue, 22 January 2019, 11:19:00: I found some beefier pro micros with through-hole mounted micro-USB ports that should be more robust than the more common pad-soldered ports that most pro micros use. We've got enough orders, this will not result in an increase in price :D

A tip for selecting a clone: choose one with the smaller cpu that's rotated by 45 degrees. Those are usually the same width as the original

What's the best way to reach you? I will be moving houses on Feb 25th so will need an address change.

I know this is an inconvenience but I did not want to miss out on the board. I don't have my new address yet but I will get it to you as soon as possible.

I'm nearly done cutting out the cases, just the clear plates to go. Plan to start shipping this week.

Great, over 1/4 of the orders were international, and this is the first time I've sent a bunch of international packages, glad to hear they're making it to their destinations!
