Title: Zenith Z-150 F7 Key Not Working
Post by: postanthony3000 on Sat, 19 January 2019, 00:18:33
So I have a Zenith Z-150 where the F7 key will beep when pressed but not register on the computer. All other keys register fine. I checked the traces which seemed fine. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix it?

Did you check to make sure the switch actually closes when you press it(and consistently at that)? If switch is good there may be a cracked trace even, my omnikey had a few traces that had hairline fractures and would prevent some switches from working but others were fine, but on visual inspection nothing looked off until the board was slightly flexed.

Yes, the circuit closes when I press it. I checked that with a multi-meter and the fact that it beeps told me that the switch was working.
