Title: Hello and Howdy :D
Post by: Prozac1964 on Mon, 21 January 2019, 12:13:51
Hi to all, I joined here about 8 months ago, but was too intimidated to post...lol
But now I'm coming out of my shell.  I have a couple of Ducky Shines I need help with,
but that can wait.  I want to get to know everyone first!  :thumb: :)

Anyway, here goes.....I'm a super noob with some nice boards.  Maybe everyone can advise me.

Peace out, Prozac

Welcome!

What's your plan with the Ducky Shines?

Thanks!  Well my plan for the Ducky Shine 6 "would" be to find some key caps that fit the max height the MX switches will allow .  I want to cover as much light that surrounds the key caps as possible, by installing a cap with a little bigger legend allowing more light to shine through the tops.

With the Shine 3 the best I can do is pull all the caps, clean and reinstall them.  Then it would be a backup board I guess. I've just been frustrated with the Shine 6, but it is still my main board!  Great feel, perfect weight, just poor job on the lighting.  Does that answer your question? :)
