I just used 3203 on my last round. I do a thin layer. You can get it here:

+1 on Tribosys 3203.

There are various popular lubes for linears.
Krytox 205g0: very popular grease, I find it a bit too thick.
Tribosys 3204: also a very popular grease, a bit thinner than 205g0.
Krytox 104: thin-ish oil. Used to be my go-to lube for linears, still one of my favs.

If you want something super thin, you can check out Superlube PTFE oil or RO59.

for tribosys 3203, the product description says "Recommended for tactile switches", does it work well with gateron linear switches? thanks

My unscientific rule of thumb from lots of trial and error is:
a) if the switch housing is matte, like a milky or black, use a grease like Krytox 205
b) if the switch housing is glossy or smooth (like a clear housing) use an oil like Krytox 105 or 106
c) if it’s a Kailh linear box switch go with a grease regardless of the switch housing material

Also I tend to put a very light dab of Krytox grease on the spring on each end because there’s no chance of it migrating like oil might.

Yes, 3203 works great with linear switches. I prefer it over 3204.
