Title: Does geekhack have a poll or survey option?

Does geekhack have a poll or survey option if I want to take a poll?
Some sites have them built into their forum so you can just click and post.
Any information about this topic?

Yes it does, its above the first post on a thread, 'Add Poll'.

Thank you ghost! I started a dummie post to test it and I found "Add Pole" but when I clicked on it it didn't do anything.
Like it was just letters on the page.  I'm missing a step I think.  Any advice?

Should I try logging out and logging back in, or am I missing something obvious?

Guess I haven’t been a regular member for a long time.  I assumed that since I’m no longer a moderator it could be done, but maybe curators have that ability for their own topics?  Idk.

For example:
how many people love mechanical keyboards?
how many people hate mechanical keyboards?

Not my question - just an example  ;D

you're allowed to make threads where you're just asking questions and people will give more complex answers than "yes" or "no"

look at the interest check forum for more inspiration

Like Ghost and Puddsy mentioned, only moderators can create polls.  However, you can absolutely message a moderator and ask them to create a poll for you in a thread you've created.  :thumb:

I had the basic idea for the pole, but now I can take it further.
Any moderator in particular that handles these tasks?
