Hey,
I have a DAS II at home and I love it, I love the MX blue switches and I love the ohmyiness of it,
I was wondering if there are any new keyboards that are like that, mx blue and ohmphy
Cheers,
Haim

I think the reason its like that is the amazing caps on those dasii boards, cherry made POM caps.
-
Do you know of any other keyboards that are like that?
I think it's also cuz the das II is plastic mounted?
I also have the DAS III but it's way less fun

I think that's because the II doesn't have a plate and is PCB mounted giving it more flex and more of a cushioning feeling when bottoming out. Anyone correct me if i am wrong.

So how can I search for a PCB mounted, mx blue, POM keyboard?

By the way, If you do not want that board anymore after you find something new, there is a lot of demand for the keycaps on the Das ii that people would be willing to buy

Wow, I didn't know...
No, I love that keyboard, I just need another one for the office

you could take a look at a Cherry G80-3000. It's exactly the same keyboard as the Das II but with out the POM key caps and different color/branding. You can buy POM cherry profile blanks from Aliexpress if you search for Pom keycaps kbdfans. And replace the key caps with the Pom ones.

Cherry G80-3000 doesn't state that it's mx blue + are you sure it's pcb mounted?
I would really prefer a cooler looking keyboard though, all the new ones are plate mounted?

The G80-3000 comes with a couple of different switches, but the most common one is blue. Cherry's website lists all of the different model numbers for the various case colors and switch types. It's most definitely PCB mounted. That's why it weighs so little compared to most mechanical keyboards, and has so much flex. I've owned a couple, and despite how flimsy they feel if you pick one up and twist it, they're very nice to type on. Depending on the age of your coworkers, some of them may think an old school-looking Cherry keyboard is very cool looking. :D

Really, there's no other PCB mounted cherry Mx blue POM keyboard?
