Does screw-in stabilizer any better than normal one ?
I thinking of build a keyboard and got curious. where do you guy get good stabilzer ? that not rattle even without lube.
-
I don't see a major difference between screw in and the regular one in terms of feel.
just make sure you use genuine gmk stabilizers. I've never tried zeal stabs or kbdfans ones so cannot say about these. chinese ones that are cheap, you should stay away. there is no way to make them not rattle.

Screw-in stabilizers are not about reduced rattle. They mostly prevent tearing stabilizers off the board. You won't likely tear your normal stabilizer easily, but it really sucks if happens.

thank you both of you.

Does it do what better?

I was quite sure that the only reason to buy screw stabilizers was the reduced wobble. Now that you people tell me that it isn't so, I see no reason to buy a set... Screw them :))
