That says it all.

I wonder if Signature Plastics can do pink ALPS sliders... A few hundred of those and a few AT101Ws and I'll be set for life. :)
-
holy crap. did that just sell for over 500 bucks?
-
i wonder if imav's dye method works on sliders.
-
I have some Dells. I have pink Alps. Hmmm....
-
I've got the rare AEKII with pink Alps. I might be convinced to let it go for $500 or so. I was going to harvest some parts and toss it. But now...
-
I guess you could say I gave eunjea a good deal... at 1/10 that auction price shipped. :)
I placed it's value around $90-150 but not $500. It's amazing what happens when 2 people go at it.
-
Yep. It takes 2 to drive the price up, so if there's only one high roller the auction won't explode.

My first thought, too...

You'd have to start with white sliders, which would be annoying since those are harder to come by than black sliders.

Wha?
Pretty sure you can find white clicky Alps just about anywhere. I found some by the side of the road.

I don't get it. I thought pink sliders sucked. I saw a YouTube video comparing orange and pink sliders in Apple keyboards and it sounded like the orange ones were best. (...at least I think that's what the video was about. There was no narration - like the guy was a mute or something. But the pink sliders sounded "dead" compared to the orange.)

Oh wow, and I mean oh wow... Someone just got arse-raped in the worst way possible.
-
If you look at the bid history it shows four different high bidders that tried to snipe it. Looks like there is one other out there willing to pay $500 for the board. I have to wonder what the winning bidders max was.

Wow. 4 bidders at $200+ We will definitely see some followup pink alps boards listed.
-
Pink Alps are pretty much the same thing as Black ones. The old AT-101s were better built than the later AT-101Ws, but it's still not as valuable as an SGI AT-101 which you can get for about $40 or so.
