Title: Tribosys 3203 expiration date?
Post by: sl70309 on Sun, 03 February 2019, 19:35:27
hello everyone,

just a question, will Tribosys 3203 become clotting/freezing if it is not being used for a long period of time?

thank you

No. If that were the case, it would make bad switch lube.

I had to stir mine when I got it.... so I haven't used it for anything other than springs.  Lol.  I think it's not what we hoped it would be.  Clots for sure.

I'm sticking with 3204.  It's a great product.

I'm totally speaking out of my rear end here, but it could be that the oil separates from the grease at a quicker rate than 3204 so maybe that's why it clots quicker when sitting in the vial. I think a good stir should be all it needs and it's good to go. I wouldn't worry about clotting or anything of the like once you lube a switch since a single switch needs only a thin layer of lube.
