Title: Creating Vintage Blacks?
Post by: HotRoderX on Sat, 09 February 2019, 03:30:00
Wondering has anyone tried taking new cherry retooled blacks and making them vintage blacks? My idea is simple take the stim mount it then take a polishing wheel to it until its worn and smooth. I would assume if that was possible one could just design a mount then polish several dozen plus stims at a time. Perhaps making new stock vintage style switches. Cause that seems to be the claim to fame of a vintage black switchs just a random ideal.

This reminds me of someone wanted to make a machine that just presses mx blacks the whole time to make them smoother over time  :)).
