Title: interesting springs for linears

Hi,

I'm planning to use mx clear springs with my next set of linears. 'Ghost blacks' I guess have a cool pillowy force curve where it's light at the top of the key press and heavy at the bottom to keep you from bottoming out.

Got me wondering.. what are other interesting/popular springs to use for linears?

also.. any suggestions for an aftermarket spring similar to clears?

Reminds me of the quote "Any tenfold quantitative change is a qualitative change", because it feels really different when you type on something as light or lighter than gateron clears compared to the 45-80g the vast majority of switches weigh

Lighter than gateron clears?  They already don't support the weight of my pinky, surely any lighter they wouldn't pop the keycap back up :))  To me linear with a light spring (I had a board with MX reds) just means no choice but to bottom out and if I'm doing that I'd may as well use a rubber dome.  Though the feel is completely different...

I have some 120g springs that ramp up a bit similar to mx clear springs, ironically I'm using them with gateron clear stems.  Bought the springs from someone on here unfortunately so don't know where they came from.  They are too heavy for pinky use but they're in the middle of my board with 'light' 100g non-ramping springs on the edges.
