What's going on? Is EK bankrupt? They have NO stock on NONE of their keyboards. This has been going on a while. Have I missed something? What's the point of "selling" keyboards if you don't have stock??
-
Pretty sure mechanicalkeyboards.com (https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/) ate their lunch
-
Amazon started selling Topre too. I'm guessing EK's contract for Topre exclusivity expired.
-
ooooo looks like they still have the white printed HHKB in stock (http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=pfu_keyboards,hhkbpro2&pid=pdkb400w)
-
They used to be the only seller to have gmk keycaps in stock. Arrows, modifiers and such. Small and nice purchases.

They need a less crappy website.

This comes from some random post I read on Reddit, so take with a grain of salt.
EliteKeyboards was a single guy who ran everything out of his garage. Being just a single person and having limited stock as is, places like Amazon started hurting when they offered topre for almost the same price and with a better return policy in most cases. Then to top that off he got sick or had rl work something. He got back logged and just sold out the stock he had and never took down the website.
Least that is what pieced together from Reddit. Obviously I might be wrong but does make since.
-
that is sad to hear, that is where i bought my first HHKB and i was planning on buying from him again.

Those were the days, when such sale would last for weeks 'cause no-one had heard of CC.
