Hello there people!
The amount of beautiful, simple sets we have coming in from GMK and SP is stunning. One of my favorites being the themes around “Space Cadet” & “Symbiosis“ and it’s simple All blue kits.
But what about my DSA People?! We, IMO, don’t have enough high end beautiful double shot DSA sets out in the market and I’m wanting to add at least one to the count.
This is aimed at the look of “Blue Cadet” but without so much accent. Though that can change with Interest.
Full DSA Space Cadet would be amazing IMO
**This set is very much a WIP so please give me all the feedback you can. I know there are others users of DSA and I want to here from you.

Thank you for your feed back if you took the time to fill this out. I’m not even sure what the number looks like on the interest of this but I really thought people would like to fill the missing “space cadet” puzzle piece; DSA

Edit: So This Set is based on an all Blue (BFP) Set with Light (WCK) legends. Interest seems to be leaning towards a true “Space Cadet” theme ATM. If this is the call of the Community, then I will absolutely be Looking into asking the GMK/SA variant Creators for approval before anything proceeds further.

That’s why I would prefer to have this be a “Basic Blue” themed set. I just put in the grey Alphas and Number pads to see if that was something people would want even more.
This is my first go at a GB and I’m not wanting to get too crazy with the dual legends and industrial modifiers. That may be something for Oblotzky would be far better at bringing to market. I spoke with him recently on the subject.

Noted! Depending on what pricing ranges develop; I’m Thinking a consolidation of the Blue Alphas, Base, and Specialties to make it a more uniform thing.

This is a great concept. Especially considering that flat profile kit in SA Symbiosis almost didn't make it. A DSA solution would have worked just as well for many, I imagine.
So about the ortho kit...
I like many others prefer to do custom layouts. When a set makes assumptions about what mods I want & where, it's never quite right for me. For this reason I like that the ortho kit in GMK Space Cadet used "assembly" legends. One thing I liked even more is that in the SA Symbiosis, ErgoDox kit for example had legends which were all the names of common Lisp functions - which is totally in the spirit of the original space cadet keyboard. Another cool thing about both of those runs is that, with a little creative effort, the "hands / roman numerals" kits could also serve as mods on some kind of Ortho/Ergo board.

Adding 2x1.5u blanks to the ortho kit expands compatibility dramatically. Adding 2x1.25u expands that a tiny bit more. These should match the spacebar, but if there’s question then match the mod color.

Ahh, you mean adding support for boards like the Atreus and small ergo boards to the Ortho Kit right?

Excellent stuff! I was just thinking recently that there hadn't been any good DSA doubleshot kits in a while (still holding out for a DSA Retro or DSA Overcast re-run). As a DSA fan I'm definitely interested.
