Title: Help with changing USB-Mini connector to USB-C
Post by: cfiggis on Wed, 13 February 2019, 14:21:43
I have a custom coiled cable that is regular USB-A on the computer end, and USB-Mini on the keyboard end. However, due to replacing my keyboard's PCB, I now need a USB-C connector on the keyboard end instead of USB-Mini.

Is anyone aware of a good guide - images or video - that could help me see how to re-solder the connector? I've got the tools, just need to know which wire goes where.

Thanks!

strip back the shrink & cover of cable so you can see what color in your cable relates to which pin in the current mini connector (don't just chop off mini connector)
