I'm also looking into what that is. I don't understand what is the difference between cherry mx vintage and retooled. What is the difference?

Fronte imgur:
In comparison, the vint is overall smoother. They don't really have that "matte" feel and instead feel very slick. The press is also very consistent. However, there is a bit of friction on the bottom half of the press, when pressing the corners of the switch. Although the vint is smoother, they don't "glide" as well during the press as well as the retooled does. It's kind of like comparing running your finger over the monitor/TV (the retooled) versus running it over a smooth glass pane. This probably won't really matter after lubing, though.
