Vape is def the future, but it's really a dif xperience. Probably for young people it doesn't matter, but for us Olds, we've got a very embedded image / sensation as to what SMOKING is suppose to be.
I tried a coworker's juul as well, pretty close. different in the hand, but idk, it just doesn't have that carcinogenic marlboro man feel ..

Yeah nothing like finding a half pack of Marlboro lights on the side of the road. Those were the days. (Dang that was almost 25 years ago.)

Tru Dat..
I remember I was 3 and a half. I stole packs from the local loading dock. They were counterfeit lucky strikes. First cigarettes ever tried, A couple month later, this hip lady at the local karaoke (where I was stealing packaged peanuts) gave me a real lucky to try, Wow, the real stuff felt so much stronger, I nearly feel over.
That sounds exaggerated but remember Tp4 were 3.5, it's alot of chemical for a 3.5.
They were prolly cutting the counterfeits with wood shaving of some sort.

Biggest reason? the alcohol industry has better lobbyists, who have been doing it longer and more companies backing them.

I was gonna say, this sounds like another case of Americans complaining that something is expensive when it really isn't :p . Just like their "outrageous" petrol prices :p .

Neither cigarettes or petrol are expensive enough anywhere on this planet.

Camels sold for ~$6 a pack when I still smoked camel wides/lights/turkish (~2012). I lost close to 1/4 of my monthly earnings on cigs. dang

Two packs at most. I usually kept it down to ~1/2 a pack a day.
edit - That's not math. I kept it to ~1/2 per day towards 2012--from 2007-2012 I smoked ~1.6 packs per day.

Not on a regular basis, only on federal holidays, coworker gatherings, and when thoroughly frustrated with compiler.

Smoking is part of his 6pakABZ diet.
Theoretically -it can-, if someone is the type who chain smokes and don't eat. This is a small proportion of smokers though.
-
In 1961 when I bought my first pack of cigarettes, the vending machine price was 25-35 cents a pack. And my parents house was worth about $20,000. That same house is worth around $600,000 today; a 30 fold increase. At the same inflation rate, a pack of cigarettes today would cost around $9.00.

61 was already the point where cigarettes came under major attack, where finally 65 the government was forced to add warning label.

lol I gained close to 30lbs after I quit the nicotine

Very normal. Eating to excess is the _next best high_ ..
Some people trade in cigarettes for Coffee, which gives you an equivalent (yet longer lasting) high..
It's a common theme that no ones quit drugs in modern times, they just pick something else.

I'll agree with that. I thankfully and haplessly dispersed the weight amongst a few years due to heavy coffee consumption. My joints/muscles had time to adjust

That's because nicotine narrows the blood vessels, which the body compensates for. When you quit, the body needs some time to adjust to there not being nicotine any more, so it overcompensates widening your blood vessels allowing more nutrients to flow out into your body and turn into fat.
On the plus side, you would get more energy for exercise than normal.

To satisfy my oral fixation (probably a hereditary trait), I continued to shove things into my face. I was consuming 3.0K+ calories per day without activity when my body only requires <= 2.2K.

Hope you're joking, cause that's the funniest bull **** I've read in a while.

I'm continuously outraged by the bull sh*t anti everything people trying to f*ck vaping up..
I smoked since i was 15yrs old ..more or less 2x pack of camels a day.. the cost was about $2~ a pack when i started... and about $11 for 2x packs (had to buy 2 to get the price) when I quit..
I quit because my wife had breast cancer..... and stepping out side the chemo treatment place to have a smoke seemed..like too much of a d*ck move.
However.. I couldn't quit... tried a bunch o' times.. then finally I was all well screw this I'll get a e-cig / vape instead.. and quite smoking 100% instantly..
Is it healthy to vape?? who the f*ck knows. I can say the coughing / shortness of breath / inabiltiy to climb a flight of stairs all f*cked right the F*ck off.....
In America sadly people have all been omg 111!!!!1111__!!!1111 the kids will do teh vapes...!!!111!!! and tried to be a bunch of c*nts about it.. all the while disregarding how it actually helps adults that would be smoking / dying of smoking do something other than smoke.. to be fair it is a different.. and honestly not quite as "awesome" experience vs. smoking .. but pretty clearly to me it is better than smoking from a not coughing up a lung trying to due exercise point of view or whatever..

It's a difficult balance. But from the TRUTH perspective, vape is no worse than coffee.
However an avid coffee drinker is in the long run, it's the exact same for a vaper..
The lvl of dopamine high are equivalent between the 2. The short attention span (without a hit), the headaches, the sleep disruption, all exactly the same.
The only difference USED TO BE that the combustion raised Cancer rates and destroyed lung linings.
Buhhh now with vaping, that's mostly a non issue...
Granted, vaping will probably still raise rates, but MILK is significantly more carcinogenic than vaping. It's even 3x more carcinogenic than Cigarettes with respect to hormone dependent cancers (such as breast/ prostate)..
Cigarette companies used to throw milk under the bus, for being more carcinogenic. Philip Morris advertised this fact in their ads before they bought kraft foods which sells them delicious singles.
-
I'd usually advise people to mix their own liquids. At least then you know exactly what you're getting. That and only use a device that has circuit protection and venting (a kick, a fuse, something).

The mental gymnastics smokers and vapers do to justify the habit is amazing. Milk is more carcinogenic than cigarettes? Jesus Christ man. Just do what you want, nobody gives a **** what you do to your body, but don’t try to make up inane **** to justify it to others or you’re just as bad as anti vaxxers

Hahaha.. you're behind the times.. Look it up.. Milk is HIGHLY carcinogenic.

No it isn’t HIGHLY carcinogenic. And it isn’t more carcinogenic than cigarettes. There are corrective studies linking milk to some cancers, but to go bat **** crazy and jump to the assertion that it’s HIGHLY carcinogenic and worse than cigarettes is just...sad.

Gonna need a source from both of you lmao

I can confirm that since giving up dairy and cigarettes I haven't been diagnosed with any cancers.
