Title: Hello and a question right off the bat!

Hello,

I've been running with the regular off the shelf keyboards for a while now and recently got into a kick where I want to be more hands on with my gear.  What would be a good board/case or even complete kit to get started with that won't break the bank.  I say this because I want to ease into it before investing in a really nice set up.  I don't mind anything with the build process like plate or pcb mount. I pretty much just prefer a TKL if that helps at all.
