Title: Sun Type 7 replacement keyboard caps

Hello:

I'm looking for a source of replacement keyboard caps for the Sun Type 7 keyboard, used, new or custom.

Any idea as to where I could get them?
I have not been able to find out what type (spec) they are.

Welcome to geekhack :)

According to the Deskthority wiki (https://deskthority.net/wiki/Sun_Type_7) this board uses a rubber dome with slider switch which doesn't sound good for finding new caps.  If you post a pic of the back of the removed cap and the hole(?) it came out of someone might recognise it as being compatible with another board which you might be able to find.  Be very careful when removing caps - you want to lift both sides (or top/bottom) at the same time so it lifts out straight or you might snap the stem.

Yes, that's what it looks like.
Nice and springy.
AAMF, at first I thought they had springs and not domes.

There they are.
Caps come off easy.
The slider I'd think is not necessary to remove.

Never seen this type of caps.
I've taken apart quite a few HPs and IBMs but don't recall any like these.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
