Title: Awful USB keyboard at school on almost every computer....
Post by: Sintpinty on Wed, 06 March 2019, 10:30:42
The sound that this thing makes is terrible, i want to throw up.
Ugh, and the overall feel. The feel is like 120 grams to press, and the sound is awful. JUST Awful. I feel the sudden urge to throw this in the trash, however i do not have a usb keyboard on me.
The shift is so messed up that i need to push it hard. I can really feel the rubber dome and i'm afraid that it might hurt my hands.
I don't see the manufacturer's logo on it, but it looks like this:
It also slows me down when typing, with at least a 20 wpm difference between the logitech media keyboard i've been using.

I wish I could see a picture of what this nightmare looks like. Sorry you've had to deal with typing on such low quality boards at your school. That's the way it was at the office I used to work at. Tons of keyboards available for all the phone receptionists there, but they were always either these cheap Logitech boards or worse.

There's these seanix boards which are a real pain to type on. (education is great here, just not the computers.)
They're angled( forced on the user)and have a weird space bar. Last typing test that i got on them was 71 wpm.
They also have feet to angle it even more.
HP ku 0316 is a standard as they come there by default. They have the mouse(which actually is ok) but my small hand slips off of it.
