I saw this on a listing for a Model M. I'm not sure if it is broken or simply some antiquated pin arrangement. From what I can tell it has two pins that are not used a ground and a power pin. It doesn't look like it has missing pins but the picture is a bit blurry.

I guess it might be possible to cut the plug off and connect it to a new one.

There is nothing wrong with this connector and there is no need in removing it and soldering a new one.
Most of the PS/2 connectors, come with all the pins, but these right here are the only ones used. Here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS/2_connector) you can find the pinout.

Thanks, I just had a Lexmark Model M and it had all 6 pins so I'm glad you could assist me.
