Has anyone ever designed a PCB for the AEK? I would be interested in getting a handful of them made but I'm still learning PCB design. Handwiring my AEK to bring it up to date would have been nice, but Alps really need the extra support.

keeping original form factor & layout: just use a converter, all ADB with adapter is 6kro
ADB to USB keyboard converter (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=14290.0)
i would only hand wire if the PCB was a bottleneck, like the M0110/a (2kro)
60% specifically for the AEK/II layout/caps

a good handful of custom pcb/plates support alps (too many to list) look at pcb pads and plate specs.
with pates, switch hole sizes are that close most all plates are cross compatible.

I'm currently working on one for the AEKII, and am hoping to be able to add support for the original AEK as well.
