Likely not happening, but ClickClack (and other vendors) have the Etar87 currently in Group Buy at a lower price. That's a great full size too

it's very nice too but with no function row it feels weird as a "full size"

Mamadi's elevator pitch to CEOs. "Asked" how would Mamadi entice CEOs to move their businesses to NYC.

Hrrrm..  Tp4 has visited many major cities last year on a drive across america. They're all basically emptying. Weekends, daytime, ghost towns.

The DECAY is not serviceable, not because of any policy, but because of the CONCEPT of city-building itself.

Developers are paid to develop, they make their bag, and they leave.  They DO NOT CARE about the future of what happens to the development.

So , we've build these concrete monstroscities up,  with NO concern to utility. So there was NEVER a plan for  sustainable / financially serviceable infrastructure in the first place.    NO CITY on EARTH is built to be sustainable.  They're all built so Financiers can profit in the short term.

Every city is crumbling. They simply can't collect enough taxes from present businesses to sustain city centers.  They're just wastes of energy.

This is the trap of Modern Economic theory, which puts GDP above all else.  GDP measures activity, it does not reflect reality well enough to be a sustainable metric for what anyone aught to do.  GDP only compels action, what someone CAN do, not what they SHOULD do.

Ok, on education.

He's saying, more teachers, focus on test scores, etc etc.

That's not what school is for.  SCHOOL under imperialism is designed to indoctrinate people into servitude.   What capitalism needs TO CONTINUE, not even to grow, to just CONTINUE as is, is Slaves. They couldn't get enough in THIS country, so they moved it elsewhere.  We only have what we have because behind it all, just beneath the surface, is an Indian guy working really hard to make disc brakes with no safety protection, very little food, and no air conditioning.

Mamadi, says he'll do this that, educate, more math, science, etc,  If this actually worked, and people became educated, the very next day America Would Collapse.

Try running a country where no one wants to join the military, no one wants to breath toxic fumes and dig coal.

Hey, Tp4 is all for a better world, but Mamadi is proposing something he simply can't deliver, because what he's NOT proposing is the REVOLUTION that it'd take to get any of it done.

Democratic Socialist,  It's the same thing as communism,  but as soon as PEOPLE get their hands on it,  They turn it back into Imperialism, and we're back where we started.

Secs trafffkn' Ok.  Look AGAIN..

They're proposing to fight prostitution. Without ending CLASS,  it's unavoidable.

What exactly IS a prostitute,  very basically, it's a person who's time-wealth is so low that they have no other option.

This is not cover-able by offering these women low level jobs. They don't pay enough.

Then there's the drugs, drug habits can not be supported by any ol' job.

Again, if Billionaire Mansions exist,  then Prostitution exists.

Prostitution is just the result of Stolen Time-Wealth funneled away from the lower classes.

If you don't have a civil revolution,  and none of them are proposing that.

Mamady will talk about it in 100 different ways, as will other politicians, but Nothing will change.

Childcare cost.  He wants to "tackle childcare cost"  BY,  increasing corporate taxes/ individual million taxes etc.

Parents do not have the time TO CARE for their kids, because the Billionaire class paid these parents to build their 3rd Mansion, through stolen wealth.

Childcare cost with billionaire tax, is just the thief giving back a tiny portion of what he stole so the city can hire crummy babysitting services, or public school afterschool programs.

It's giving people Tylenol for pain management. So, in our system, instead of fixing the ROOT CAUSE of the problem,  we're realllly only capable of proposing Painkillers.

Again, better than nothing, yea,  but it fixes nothing, as it does not address the root cause of why Parents are time-poor, so much so, they can't be with their kids.

Ok, so, stuff that mamady is saying that is just wrong.

The police is bad, but they're not bad now, because hey it's hard job.

The police exists to serve the Wealthy class, they're the enforcers for Land Lords / Owners of capital.

You don't WORK WITH the police,  you PAY the enforcers, to go beat up the peasants you're renting to.  Nothing will change that.

The problem isn't the police,  the problem is the EXISTENCE-of-CLASS.   That's not something you change in anyway by Participating in the system. The system is exactly as it's designed to be.  Short of Anarchist succeed from the Union kinda thing, it's all just more of the same.

RENTS being too high.  You might hate your landlord, but actually,  HE pays dues, to A BIGGER LANDLORD.   The imperialist economy is in its entirety a Ponzi pyramid that funnels wealth and resources upwards, in a trade for operational efficiency.  THAT WILL NOT CHANGE.  IT CAN NOT CHANGE,  because the Bandwidth-Cost must be balanced by Unequal-Command-Authority.

It has nothing to do with who's the bad guy, the LandLord is not anymore bad than if a Renter became the landlord. The SYSTEM works this way. Mamady is not changing the system, he can't, so by playing the game as is,  We will just have more of the same.

This is not to say, mayyybe somewhere, mamady believes in lofty ideals, and somewhere wants to do better, it just won't work, because the system will not allow it.

dat kuomooo mamady debate.  lots of sick burnz.

Buhhh, TBH, I'm not sure mamady understands what he's getting into.  Government is about maintaining corruption, not ending it.

We can desperately wish, that this is the "turn around" for all mankind, but it's unrealistic and probably borders on juvenile.

THAT SAID,  well, how could it be any worse at this point,  why not try the impossible.

Tp4's perspective,  it won't work,  that's not how governments function.

You'll probably get more of the same,   but if you buy the "FANTASY" that is being sold, well ok,  try it, why not.

kumo and fat kfc guy wouldn't be any better or worse.
