nothing special about this post but im going for IT degree (idk if i said it properly correct me if there is something wrong) next year and i wonder how many ppl joined because "i like playing video games". guess random numbers and we will see who is right. also if any of you also were/are on IT degree how it was for you?
Perhaps there are people who choose IT in school because of their love of video games.

Keyboards / Re: Long Travel vs Short Travel

short travel is just more comfortable since you don't need to lift your wrists as high with a long travel board. I really like low profile choc switches and they are also pretty nice for gaming.

Oh yes, they are pricey for computer keyboards.

An 84-key F/AT keyboard cost the the equivalent of $670 2023 dollars.  IBM had a separate SKU if you wanted just the keyboard without the computer.  And IBM amortized that $670 across multiple product lines and hundreds of thousands of sales, saving them a bunch of money compared to small-batch boutique production.

$420+options doesn't seem all that expensive, considering.

I am so close to sending an order :thumb:

Thanks for sharing, I had problems making your codes into a HEX file. Is it possible that you can provide a HEX file? Thanks.

Ergonomics / Re: keyboards for small hands

Compact Keyboards: Consider trying compact keyboards like 60% or 65% layouts, which have a smaller form factor and fewer keys. These keyboards can reduce the distance your fingers need to travel, making it easier to reach all the keys without straining your wrists.

Ortholinear Keyboards: Ortholinear keyboards, such as the Planck or Preonic, have a grid-like layout with keys aligned vertically and horizontally. This arrangement can provide a more intuitive typing experience and reduce finger stretching.

Ergonomic Keyboards: Look into ergonomic keyboards that have split designs, such as the ErgoDox or Kinesis Advantage. These keyboards allow for a more natural hand and wrist position, providing comfort and potentially reducing strain.

Low-Profile Keyboards: Keyboards with low-profile switches, like the Keychron K1 or Logitech MX Keys, have shorter key travel distances. This can make it easier for you to type with less effort and reduce the strain on your hands.
