Looking for Assembly services in Canada
« on: Fri, 07 June 2019, 05:00:19 »
Thread. Bought all of what I would need to build a custom but don't have soldering tools or expertise in order to not wreck the parts. If anyone can forward me to canadian assembly services, that would be great. I can't find any. Sifo and user stopped so the wiki page is innacurate.

There are assembly services in Canada, although I hear there's only about two reliable persons.

I think one of them is named "Vince." He is on the Discord for Canadian mechanical keyboards.

If you go to the Toronto meetup next month, you are likely to meet one of these people.

For everyone else, it's best to join the CMK "Canadian Mechanical Keyboard" Discord. That's where all the chat happens. And you can ask about assembly services.

The Toronto meetup will probably feature one of the assembly services, since a number of Canadian businesses are listed. If you are close enough to Toronto, here are the details:

Date & Time:
July 6th, 2019
12:30PM-4:30PM

Location:
Toronto Public Library - Fairview Location
35 Fairview Mall Dr, North York, ON M2J 4S4
