Logitech keyboards would be a good example of the kind of thing I'm looking for. They use Logitech Gaming Software, which shows you a map of your keyboard, lets you select any of the programmable keys and gives you an intuitive interface that lets you type the keys you want in your macro (while showing you the keys you're pressing so you can check for errors), edit the macro if you wish, edit the delays between keys and whatnot, and drag the macro to a different key if you wish to move it. It also lets you assign a shortcut to any programmable key to launch a file directly from that key, and even has a separate interface for assigning a block of text to any programmable key. I could type the entire bible with my "G1" key, for example (not that I ever would, but as a writer I do use this option for less ridiculous applications).
I know the ICUE software for Corsair keyboards has something similar, but are there other keyboard brands that have similar (or better) software for their keyboards?
Which brand would you say has the best driver software for this?
If Corsair and Logitech are indeed the best options for this, please break it to me gently.
Btw: I'm aware of AutoHotKey and QMK. I'm not looking for solutions for coders. I'm looking for something user-friendly.
