Sharing your precious keyboards
« on: Mon, 05 July 2010, 10:52:28 »
Hey there!

Just received my blank Filco Tenkeyless blue switches (Thank you Elite!)

Other than me, this computer is shared between my mother and sister. Neither of them knows how to touch type though, and I expect them to freak out once they realise there's no letters on the keyboard. Muahaha.

Touch typing can really be a benefit so I'll try to persuade them to give it a chance.

Does anyone here share their keyboards with others? How do people react to your blank keyboards?

Regards, glo

Stick an Ikea mag rack on the side of your desk and keep a rubber dome keyboard in it plugged in at all times for the proletariat.
LOL! Sooo gonna use this for my sig!

I can imagine the scene:

Hello, Son, it's mother. Where's the letter D on this blank keyboard?
ģIt's the third letter key on the middle row.
Ok, thanks. Bye.

Hello, Son, it's mother again. Where's the E key?

People approach my computers on pain of death. The worst thing for your machine is family.

My other half complains for 5 mninutes, then get's used to whatever I've just put on the desk (DE Layout Cherry 1800 ATM). My PC, My rules... ;-) I do expect mass protests when my M13 loses it's letters in favour of some of ClickClack's custom goodness.
