Just got my Leopold FC660M and my most used keys from gaming (W and S for FPS games and X for osu!) as well as some keys around that area are already starting to exhibit small circle spots of shine after just a few days. I wash my hands often and wipe my hands with a nearby rag if they ever get sweaty/oily from playing, so I don't think this is due to any bad hygienic practices. I've taken a toothbrush to them under warm soapy water as well as put them through multiple runs in an ultrasonic cleaner with denture tabs mixed in but none of that seemed to work. Any tips on how to get rid of the spots or reasons as to why they're showing shine this early on? I've included some pictures for reference.

I assume you got the board from a reputable source / you are certain they are genuine caps, PBT doubleshot and all.

I think my Sky Blue caps ("PD" model) show some very small shine spots (smaller than the ones in your pictures). This is very odd though, PBT should only get shiny after a LONG while.

That's not true shine, that is just oils from your fingers making the caps shine a little more on the most used keys. Wipe the keys down with a damp cloth or ammonia free window cleaner & they'll all look the same again. I can still see texture on the caps in all your pics. Real shine is when you've used a caps set long enough to wear the texture on them smooth. Those being doubleshot PBT caps on yours, that should take a long time.

Yep, I purchased this board from mechanicalkeyboards.com. I see, thank you for at least a little bit of assurance when it comes to this. It's very odd indeed!

I've went ahead and tried using Windex as well as a couple of other off-brand washroom/all purpose cleaners on the keycap but there seems to be no effect using this method as well.

Dish soap is designed to get rid of grease, you could try that. Windex is crap for anything other than glass, and I can't speak to your other cleaners.

Shine is where the surface of the keyboard itself is abraded by the friction of your hands. These greasy marks should wash off.
