what is with cherry switches?
« on: Sat, 03 October 2020, 18:40:31 »
Recently I've noticed that Cherry related products seem to be getting priced way out of reason to  the extent that Drevo is not producing Cherry keyboards but keyboards using many of the other brands. there blademaster pro (cherry silent reds in my case) is being replaced by Blademaster SE wired with Outemu switches.

Is there supplier problems or prices just going out of whack for some reason?

Probably for better profit margins. If you can buy a lot a lot of switches they you can get them cheap i remember when you could have gotten Cherry mx black retooled for 20-25 cents or something from a bulk supplier. Bought 200 for 40 Euros including shipping.
