I'm rather new here so don't have any frame of reference who any of you are, but am a longtime fan of Reply All.
I thought it was a really lovely call and was very interested when the caller discussed the impact of this hobby on mental health. As I said, I'm new here, and haven't gone further than plugging in a few switches and popping on some new keycaps, but already I've had MAJOR time and money sucked from browsing through GH and Reddit and reading up on switches, watching YouTube videos on how to solder, compiling my own lists and spreadsheets. And I have plans to go full-on electronics geek by rebuilding an old Kaypro keyboard, who knows what rabbit holes that will send me down.
I've definitely been retreating down the keyboard rabbit hole as a way to deal with other stresses in my life. I just thought it was a very tender, interesting interview and a peek into how these obsessive/methodical hobbies/subcultures can indulge certain parts of our brains/personalities, for better or for worse.
