Mill-Max Sockets and Kailh Switches - doesn't fit?

So.. i just received some Mill-Max IC sockets (7305-0-15-15-47-27-10-0) and tried to put them on some Kailh switches i have lying around. Kailh Box Navy, Box Pink and Dark Yellow to be precise.
These switches have two different legs, one is a bit thicker but narrower and the other one is really thin but wider. The thick narrow one fits, the thin wide one doesn't.

Did anyone try these sockets with Kailh switches? Am i doing something wrong or did i order the wrong sockets?
I'll try some Gateron switches as well when i get home...

I'm gonna bump this thread. I know I'm really late to this post but I bought myself my some keyboard parts through-out the last couple of months as I'm making my first custom keeb (usually I just mod my pre-existing keyboards. I have fun -breaking- what companies like Corsair think is normal ) and bought some Mill-Max sockets as well as Box Royals. Turns out that just like you said, one pin is wider, while the other is the opposite. The Max sockets go on well with the skinny ones on every single of my hundred switches or so.

As I was looking around on Google, turns out a YouTuber by the name of KeyBonBon made a Form/Excel list of compatible and not-so-compatible switches for the 7 and 3 versions of the Mill-Max sockets. On the list, it mentions that a guy named MegaLadysMan1234 had simply sanded down the thicker of the pins on some Lanjars. I'm unsure if he was successful or not, however I think it'd be worth the test with one or two spare switches.

sanding the legs seems like a lot of work.  I ran into this issue, and used a pair of needle nose pliers to slightly squish the sockets into a slightly oval shape for the wider pins.  that made them wide enough to slide on.  I use this method to put the sockets on the switch legs first, then pop them into the pcb.  Then I solder the sockets in from the bottom and remove the switch afterward.

In order to orient the receptacles correctly, install them with Cherry or Gateron switches. Once soldered you'll be able to push Kailh switches in just fine.

I always order Mill-Max 0305-2-15-80-47-80-10-0 from Mouser Electronics and they always work perfectly with Kailh. Recently I installed some Box Black switches and it's s little tight on
