I've done some looking the last couple of days and haven't found a thread about this topic yet. Has anyone used the tx 16mm springs before and compared them to gat yellows? I'm debating on if I wanna move up weight or stay at 65g cuz I bottom out fairly easily (soft bottom out not hard) most of the time (I say fairly because after writing papers for a while I do feel a little fatigue creeping in). I've read a user's experience in the Oxblood switch thread that said the 16mm spring that a 67g can feel heavier than 14mm 70g so dunno if I actually need to move up if the 65g is actually that much heavier.

Cheers!

Checking in to see if you pulled the trigger on the TX Springs. I am probably gonna order a couple of packs from TX. Looking for something in-between black and yellow with a different feel.

Let us know how it goes. Still trying to get a handle on these new TX springs without buying a whole lot.

The 55 G long are heavier in the actuation stage than the 55 G short. This makes it potentially function better with heavier tactiles like the U4 stem, instead of 55 G short. But it's a higher initial press.

I have some test Ergo Clears with 60 G TX (s) and they were a bit light. I was thinking of going to 62 G (s), but wondered about the L variant. If it's comparable to Gateron Yellow, I'm not sure I'd like it, as I found Gateron Yellow to be a bit stiff / sluggish.

65g long feels between black and yellow.   the problem iwth gateron spring is that they are so inconsistent that you don't know what weight they acutally are

just find a spring weight that you like and stick to it
