Keyboards and plates

I'm planning to get a new keyboard and was wondering what those plate materials could bring to the game.
I used to use top mount alu plates, integrated plates, but never tried other materials.

I understand that softer plates, like PC or FR4 will add flex to the whole experience.
There are full plates, half plates, something called leaf (?)....
What plates do you guys use for what switches?
Is there a proper preference, like for example alu/brass plate for heavy tactile switches, or soft PC for linears?
Or other way around?

Just wanted to hear your opinion.

People say they like softer typing experience for linears and stiff for tactiles so the tactile event will be noticeable and pronounced, I could see why.

Right, so its better to put tactiles on alu, then linears on fr4 for example?

Most people would probably say yes as bouncy linear go brr and a hard tactile will make the tactility feel more consistent etc.
Tactiles I would say its kinda  a better experience, but I kinda like a hard plate in general
