Maybe their advertising is just getting to me but it seems like some good stuff.

From their email:

It’s time to mark your keyboard with an X—a Holy Panda X, that is. Together with Gateron and the Holy Panda’s original creators, we fully engineered an ultra-consistent tactile switch that’s refined the feel, sound, and reliability of its predecessor. The Holy Panda X is here.

The first Holy Panda was a Frankenstein’s monster made from two switches. The Holy Panda X is fully engineered to deliver the Holy Panda’s signature tactile action with way more consistency.

To get the feel and sound just right, we teamed up with Quakemz, Invyr, and Mech27—the names behind the original Holy Panda—as well as the design and manufacturing team at Gateron to make our designs come to life.

For a refined, reliable Holy Panda experience that lasts, we outfitted the Holy Panda X with a polycarbonate top case, nylon bottom case, and POM stem.

That all seems great. My only reservation is the price.

35 switches for $29 means for a typical board were spending $58 which is giving me hesitation.

The most expensive switch I've purchased are the Gateron Azure Dragons which go for around $40-45 for 70 switches. The Azure Dragons are my favorite tactile right now.

It is a little easier to justify $0.64 for a switch I know I already love... as well it is one of the best looking switch I have seen.

But $58 for 70 switches I have not actually tried is rough. They dont look amazing but that email got me interested. Made by Gateron and they made these switches in collab with Invyr? I like that. Thoughts?

i find the price a bit silly, with the OG holy panda it was understandable since it was a frankenswitch but this is its own switch.
also i feel at that price point just make holy boba's
