I have this little pet project of an AEK II that I've been restoring. Problem is that sometimes randomly the keyboard becomes unresponsive, and all three lock-lights start flickering. When it is responsive, the numlock and capslock LEDs cant be on at the same time.
I figured it was a capacitor issue, so I replaced the three capacitors on the motherboard (1uf 50v). This fixed the numlock and capslock issue but not the random bits of flickering and unresponsiveness. So I need help diagnosing that.
Could it be a resistor issue, or a problem with the ceramic capacitors?
I use a drakware ADB2USB adapter, which seems to work fine with my brand new AEK II
